These 2 events bring in children of all ages to enjoy breakfast and visit with Santa or the Easter Bunny. All may also enjoy some games, crafts, and music.
Every year on the first Tuesday of August communities across the country take time our to recognize our Police, Fire and other Emergency Responders. Endwell UMC works each year to sponsor a community event that supports that recognition, always with the goal to get the community together and say thank you to all that serve us on a daily basis.
Every year the Broome County United Way sponsors a DAY OF CARING event, where they match volunteers with needs in the community. Sometimes that need is in our own church to perform facilities or ground maintenance. We bring our own volunteers and sometimes work with other community volunteers to help where it is needed.
Halloween is for kids young and old. Each year we hold a Trunk or Treat party for the local community with many cars decorated for the event. Volunteers dress up for the occasion and hand out wrapped candy to all families attending. We often have special seasonal music and extra treats and snacks for all that visit.
As Christmas approaches, Endwell UMC will pull together volunteers to help the Salvation Army with their Bell Ringing campaign. On occasion, our Bell Choir or Voice Choir may participate in spreading the sounds of the season.
